The short version
- We text only about reservations you make with us, and never send marketing.
- You choose texts on the reservation form; Email is the default.
- Usually one to three texts per reservation. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to stop our texts, or HELP for help.
- We never sell or share your number, or your agreement to texts, for marketing.
Who sends them
Our texts come from The Baker’s House, a trade name of Zionsville Sourdough Supply LLC, at 365 S. Main Street, Zionsville, IN 46077. Every text starts with “The Baker’s House:” so you always know it’s us.
What we text
Only messages about a reservation you made with us:
- Confirmed: your pickup day and window, your reference, and your private link to change or cancel;
- Bagged and ready: when your order is ready, if you asked for that text;
- Changed: if we change your reservation’s day, window or breads, because you asked us to or we had to;
- Cancelled: if we ever have to cancel it.
For example:
The Baker’s House: Jane, your bread is reserved for Fri, Sep 18, 11am – 1pm. Ref BH-0918-775. Pay at pickup. Change or cancel: bakershousebread.com/manage/… Reply STOP to opt out.
The Baker’s House: your bread is bagged and ready — Fri, Sep 18, 11am – 1pm. Reply STOP to opt out.
How you sign up
Only on our reservation form, at bakershousebread.com/reserve. After your name and mobile number:
- under “Send my confirmation by”, choose Text message. Email is chosen unless you pick it;
- and, if you like, tick “Also text me when the order is bagged and ready.” It starts unticked.
Right under those choices, the form says:
Texts come from The Baker’s House and are only about your reservation — usually one to three for each. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.
You don’t have to agree to texts to reserve. Choose Email instead. When you submit, we keep a record of what you chose, the words you were shown and when, and your confirmation text arrives straight away.
Texts are switching on soon. Until then the text choices on the form show as “Coming soon” and every confirmation comes by email. The pictures below show the form as it works once texts are on.

How often, and the cost
Usually one to three texts per reservation: the confirmation, then the ready note if you asked for it, and a change or cancellation only if one happens. Message and data rates may apply.
